Walter White is making a run for it, and Marlo Stansfield DEFINITELY tried for it, but my vote goes to Vic Mackie.




Edit: Well, Archie Bunker, but that was a whole different generation of scumbaginess.

Yes Vic Mackie is up there, before season 5 finale he was just an lovable a$$hole. The audience was sort of rooting for him in an really dark anti-hero way. After he did that act in the Season 5 finale he went to that scum bag territory. Tony Soprano was the lovable a$$hole until the "College" episode then the audience was conflicted whether to root for the guy or not. J.R. Ewing is up there for all my old school brehs.

they aren't scumbags, they're just whiney, annoying bytches... supposed to be the "moral compass" of their shows, but they're just death on screen.
