whenever i listen to life after death, i always have to go back and listen to ready to die but man, biggie was so damn raw on this shyt. i loved (still do) how grimy the production on this album, so bass driven; hard hittin' beats and biggie was just rhymin' and flowin' with ease over these beats. his rhymes were just as hard as the beats, it was like a marriage that went hand in hand

prime example of what i'm talkin' bout, especially since i just finished listenin' to this song

Ready to Die, the title track, is so good. It reminds me of like, being paranoid,suicidal,high and sweaty in a small azz house looking out ya window every 10 seconds thinking someone is coming. ill.
