This is a pretty good match

@bigrodthe1 displayed something for the gaming market, I could imagine playing NFL Quarterback club to this one. This had a lot of sci-fi sound effects, that would definitely work with less, as it would leave more space.
The clap is a little muddy over track, but I think its the choice of the clap more than volume. As far a volume goes the overall volume levels are good. If that clap was a little better, and fit more in the great mix you have, I wouldn't even have to think about my vote.

@Interloper The track is dope with a better mix this one would be a classic! Try turning down the sample melodic portions 5-10% that way the drums pop without having to fight the track for space and clouding up the frequencies, you would get clearer audio while maintaining the punch you seem to be going for by bringing the music up as loud as it can go. That switch at 2:10 is on point, same deal in this section, if you turn down the melodic lines/sample the drums won't be fighting for space, and you will have clearer output while maintaining the punch in the music.



I'm going to vote for Rod for this, but not by much. I can clearly understand why people would vote interloper over Rod's record, with a better mix it definitely, would be on another level especially being that Interlopers track has so much more to it, and definitely has the potential to be greater. Sometimes simplicity wins out.

Sorry to hear that the last few weeks. I saw this and looked at the vote talley thinking it was like 10-2 or something like that but na.

haha I gotchu, at the risk of stating what people already know, but if anyone comments just salute them on the comment and vote (no matter who they vote for.) that way everyone gets the tag because everyone's connected, and the more times you thank the people for voting and commenting the thread grows wings, because it starts trending not just tunnel wide, but these threads end up trending in the booth as well. I was feeling that violin on rods beat, crazy rhythm too, mad unique. I was feeling the vibe more on this beat but the mix is kind of muddy, needed that clap to shine through also.

Interloper completely killed it with the mix, layers and sounds so gotta go with him on this one.
