Bill Hader appeared on the comedy podcast Comedy Bang Bang last week to promote his wife's directorial debut The To-Do List and talked with host Scott Aukerman about his final episode of SNL, which happened to be the one where Kanye debuted BLKKK SKKKN HD.
Discussing his final three episodes
Bill: "Yeah, we did Kristen [Wigg], Zack [Galifinakis] and then Ben Affleck-Kanye West."
Scott: "Oh thats right. Kanye is sort-of considered to have his own show, in a way?"
Bill: "Yeah, he had his own show going on. But he was really nice. He was actually- my very first episode, he was the musical guest and I told him that, and he goes "Full circle, man. Full circle." Then he put our foreheads together. I'm not joking. He grabbed my head and put his forehead to my forehead, and said "Full circle". And I was like "WOAH....okay man." But he was incredibly nice. Very sweet."
The host also mentions that Kanye took improv lessons at the UCB Theater in NY, which means he either 1) Wants to get into stand-up comedy or 2) was so determined to dominate Wild'N Out that he studied at the biggest comedy school for like 4 months beforehand just to get ready.
