Dr. West is correct that Hillary is a neo-liebral and she will owe the big money interests in her administration.

Barney Frank is also correct that you need to have balance of outsiders and insiders of DC to get policy done.

Alex Wagner made the great point that liberals/progressives are terrible at running for office at local and state levels... if you want to get healthcare and minimum wage up, win state houses and governor mansions.

Barney breaking down how the LGBT movement got stuff done is what West and these old school preacher/intellectual blacks don't get. The only thing that Barney didn't straight out say but was implied was that the LGBT movement had money behind it. Too many of these blacks are puppets for causes that have ulterior motives. Until there is a black funded movement, black issues won't be addressed. The Cornel West's of the world are now being replaced with the Deray's of the world. They can all talk good and come from upper tier schools but they don't have the resources to make any real impact. Making change consists of shutting up and putting your dollars where your mouth is. However, people like Cornel West would rather sell books and stay on the speaking circuit.

On a side note: i enjoy debating politics with you guys. We may not agree but some of you all come correct with good points and solid opinions. In my life I started out far left but I cant stick with a party that has become an elites only meritocracy that uses the votes of the poor to stay in power, that is why i was never a republican. I would rather vote for 1000 Bernies or Jill Steins until the party wakes up and changes

The two main parties are so bloated and big-tent, party affiliation has become arbitrary. The idea Bernie (or say Cruz) supporters should "fall in line" for the sake of party affiliation is kinda insane.
