My post went completely over your head somehow.
Nah, it's just that your post is irrelevant. The whole concept of that election being a "reward" for an individual is just childish. You also fail to recognize that staying home "rewards" Donald Trump for much more egregious behavior.

Any other election, sure, maybe send a message to the DNC & party elite that their fukk shyt won't fly. But Clinton wasn't running against Romney or even Jeb, she was running against Donald fukking Trump, a man who was clearly unfit for the presidency and was reluctant to disavow the support of white supremacists. :scust:

At the end of the day, if you decided to stay home because you didn't like Hillary last November, you were acting out of one, or both, of the following:

1. ignorance
2. privilege

Take your pick.

My post was about her ignoring a particular section of the country thus losing the election. Everything else yall are saying is truly irrelevant to that time period and lets the Democrats off the hook to continue to run terrible campaigns like that in the future. Which could mean we keep having these stupid what if discussions for decades (see Gore/Bush).

It's simple, she goes to the rust belt more she probably wins instead of barely losing. Also her popular vote is even larger, and we're not up here talking about Trump everyday.

But since Trump is predictably awful at this now people have to run back to the "I told you sos" which does nothing to defeat this shyt in the future. She lost, and that's on her mostly. If she knew the threat of Trump like you and everyone else did she should have campaigned harder instead of depending on her arrogance. Telling people what Hillary wouldn't have done isn't gonna help against what Trump will do in the future.

It's simple, she goes to the rust belt more she probably wins instead of barely losing. Also her popular vote is even larger, and we're not up here talking about Trump everyday. At the moment, liberals seem to want to take their ball and go home if they don't get what they like in a candidate, not realizing that the clock is still running if they choose to play or not.

But since Trump is predictably awful at this now people have to run back to the "I told you sos" which does nothing to defeat this shyt in the future. She lost, and that's on her mostly. Should she have run a better campaign? Yes.

Should people have gotten over themselves and gone out and voted? Yes.

It's fair to call out both. I happen to think the latter is the more pressing issue at the moment - especially considering that it's clear from here on out foreign adversaries will be airing the dirty laundry of political figures.

Like the saying goes, when it comes to political candidates, Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line. Until Democrat voters TRULY view things like racial inequality, climate change, etc. as rallying issues in the same ways that huge blocs of Republicans view, say, abortion, we are set up to LOSE. Sure, there are a myriad of reasons white evangelicals might throw their support behind a guy who boasts about grabbing strange women's pussies, but part of it is that they understand the simple fact that getting something is better than nothing. The policies are more important than the candidate.
