He was mostly right but Hollywood casting white people for historically Black characters is done intentionally to whitewash history. How the hell you have a movie about ancient Egyptians and not have Black people casted at all?

The Coli fascination with white people who openly disrespect Black people.

maher, rogan, etc
But why fascination?
Are you fascinated with every thread or post you make on TLR?

Dude listen, to me the Bill Maher show largely brings establishment elites or rich partisan people on his show
I disagree with most of the content on his show, but I do like the format though.
I like the table format and people debating politics without talking over each other and only have one minute to respond.
And also i've laughed many times from his new rules and other comedic skits on the show, that ASMR one was hilarious.
So it brings people finishing their sentence on political talks and with comedy mixed it, I like that, that's why I watch it,

If I could summarize the topics he has on all his show into one sentence it would be "This is what democrats need to do to win".
Something definately I am not a fan of, because it's 'how can they win' and not 'this is the right path to take'.

But despite that, I do not mind watching things I disagree with, i'm not an intellectual p*ssy. I do not require to only watch things that are of the same mind as me.

I don't fukk with Maher but he's 100% right on everything except Hollywood once being a meritocracy. You either believe in the process of being an actor - and the art of acting - or you don't. James Caan (Jewish) beat out Italian actors, including Robert De Niro, to get his role in The Godfather. Jews and Italians often played each other in 60s and 70s films. The Tom Hanks comment is especially sad because as a great actor he should be defending his craft. No he wasn't a gay man, but should the role have gone to a gay man with AIDS instead? Surely a gay man without AIDS couldn't possibly step in the shoes of that character right. It's a nonsensical circular argument.
