Quite contrary, it will. Just like many other things we thought would have disappeared from society at this point that still exist, religion has a long future ahead of it. People who believe in religion don't just believe in it because they were raised to believe it, some need to believe in it. Some of it is the emotional appeal. Now, the level of influence from religion - that's a different story.
