Then of course (as is typical when called out for the repulsive behavior) tried to explain and apologize. This tweet is now deleted, and I only saw it because one of my friends retweeted someone else's screenshot. But here it is for your own eyes.

Typical "I'm not actually sorry I said it, just sorry y'all aren't as dumb as I thought you were and realized why it was offensive, therefore you wouldn't let it slide by. This is me making an attempt to show you 'I'm not racist' so hopefully this pseudo apology will appease you, k?" backtracking tweet here:

Man... He tried it, twitter denied it. I know his mentions are in shambles, and some replies are funny because they point out the hypocrisy of him being the one to make such a statement about Cam when there's this:

Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house.

It's pathetic and so tired, honestly. Calling a black man boy is historically racist, and just because it's 2016 doesn't mean people won't stoop so low as to try to degrade you.

He's probably just mad that Cam is actually a good young man with a good heart. I can't stand a bitter person, regardless of their race, but I especially can't stand a bitter white person insulting a black person by calling him/her out of their name.

Nah I'm talking about Cam. As far as america was concerned, Cam doesn't play football the "american way".

Yeah... "The American way." Man whatever, just let him live! He's a young man, enjoying what he does for a living, and he has a passion and zest for life. It's actually refreshing to see given what we normally see/hear about black men in the media.

I can't handle this "low key, thought I was gonna be slick" racism. I grew up in a majority white town, went to majority white schools (foreign exchange and military classmates who were cultured about the people of the world were the saving graces) and had a clique of black friends. None of us ever let this go unchecked. You hear or see it? Point 'em out. It's how I was raised... "Don't start shyt, don't take shyt."

I'm expecting this shyt in full force tomorrow and all next week.

White america gonna rub this shyt all in our face.
I don't even give a fukk.

This is one situation where white people are literally the ONLY ones making this shyt about race. It's so fukking annoying and pathetic on their part.

As for Romanowski...he damn knew what he meant when he said that and made that tweet.

It's sad...cause their boy (Peyton) won. Why they mad?

They stay mad!! I'm telling y'all, the things I've heard and seen growing up, witnessed and (literally--one time) fought over growing up has shown me that they are deeply insecure and express it in micro aggressions quite often, we stay on their minds for basically little to no reason, and the one thing they don't ever want for us to have is confidence.

Confidence through education, confidence through dancing and singing, confidence through the way our bodies are shaped, the hair that grows from our scalps, our lips, our noses, our strength. They don't want us to have the confidence through knowing our ancestors built this country and they could never take that truth away from us.

We are a warm people, born with soul and rhythm, we are a resilient people, we are a people capable of greatness in spite of the obstacles against us. That's black excellence, y'all.

You only try to keep it dark when you know the heat of the light at full exposure would blind you.

Think about it. I'm out, Coli fam. Just had to post this once the servers came back up.

All day, that's what I do!! I really should be asleep because I have class tomor... Later today, but when I saw that on Twitter, I had to make it known! I've had my father and brothers be called out of their names, and it hurt me. I'm a woman, but those are the men in my life and I will never sit back and let them (or any of "my" people) be disrespected like that.
