Y'all hate is hilarious sometimes. You think HBO gave him that show without understanding what was going on? They knew he's a dork with a nasally voice. They ain't dumb. Giving him that show was a way to sweeten the deal, but mainly they were after his content ideas (30 for 30 is his invention and that's the best shyt from ESPN in years) and his audience. They also invested in his website and podcast network outside of the show and if you're being honest you'd admit the podcast network been popping.
Except Simmons aint really do shyt.

Connor Schell and John Dahl were the ones who won Peabody Awards for the series.
Any jagaloon can think "we should do this series". That's not genius or noteworthy. Actually having the skill to create the project and bring it to fruition...that's what Schell and Dahl did.

I refuse to give this Simmons clown any credit for anything except taking his sports and movie diatribes that he likely had at the end of some Boston dive bar and putting them on an ESPN blog.

I'll just let you cook next time. You ain't got shyt, but hate for the man so you pretending like having the actual idea and executive producing the series "ain't doing shyt". Meanwhile ESPN ain't got nobody since the man left that had the online profile that ole boy had if he ain't nothing special they should've been able to create another Hov, but instead they're losing talent and subscribers like crazy. I ain't even a big fan of dude.

LOL
Bill Simmons has literally nothing to do with the talent leaving ESPN. And nothing to do with the dip in subscribers.

And you know it.

Dude was the epitome of white privilege so I'm glad his career has taken a turn for the worst......
But this interview was good. It seems like he realized where he fukked up and he clarified some of the dirt on his name like getting Magic tossed from that nba show (he could be lying tho)
How was he the epitome of white privilege?
