I like AI way more than Nash but it's not crazy at all to say that if you're starting a team from scratch Nash is possibly a better choice.

When did AI have a star teammate and refuse to adapt? When he played with Melo his effiency went up

Iverson was 5'11 , barely even 6'0 and he spent most of his prime playing in one of the most defensive eras in NBA history. How efficient did you expect him to be? When he went to Denver, his efficieny went up. Very few perimeter players were really that efficient in the early 2000's.

If you're a lotto franchise you take AI no question....Nash for one took a few years to develop, wasnt durable and couldnt carry a Squad dollo either. And Ray Allen didnt do it at the level that AI did it and struggled the minute he had a shytty squad. Ray might have an argument in todays game tho.

AI was flat out better than both Nash and Ray..if the sixers didnt have Billy King as Gm (The worst GM in Nba History) AI wouldnt be in the position where hes getting his legacy shyt on by Cac pundits

He still the most talented player in that draft (Kobe was flat out better obviously)

No idea, a lot of moving parts...the inclination is to reduce Nash's career to like a 3 year run in Phoenix propped up by D'antoni's system and a love affair with the media, but he had an entire career outside of that of not doing much in the playoffs too :pachaha:...he played on a LOT of stacked squads...in prime AI with Dirk and Finley and them on the Mavs? I don't know, but I wouldn't reduce their odds...they ended up beating the Spurs and getting further than the much glorified SSOL after trading Nash...so I can't call it :hubie:

Nah, it’s impossible for the short nyggas to have a rational discussion on AI. Those were the nyggas that really gravitated towards him, and wanted to be like him.

I'm not about to have an efficiency debate here or start bashing AI since I loved AI. I also know full well that factors like teammates and coaching matter too when evaluating a player. My point is simply that it's not crazy for someone to prefer Nash to AI if starting from scratch. Nash led some of the most game changing offenses in history and did so as the main ball handler and catalyst. Someone can also reasonably poke some holes in AIs game when comparing him to all time greats.
