So is Iverson getting past those Spurs teams![]()
If the 01 AI had the same cast as nash in the Suns era, he probably makes the finals one of those years

Off topic but Bill Simmons selling The Ringer for 200M right before covid was an UNREAL come up
Its impossible to talk AI rationally. He meant so much to so many of us culturally that folks love him straight up. Plus from a hooping standpoint he was one of the most fun players to watch and everybody wanted to hoop like him more than anyone since Jordan IMO.
I always rooted for Philly with AI.
All that said, it's not really that deniable now that AI was also a pretty inefficient gunner and refused to adapt his style for anyone or anything so the only way his teams won was if he was surrounded by guys who were ok with him taking 30 shots and only kind of playing D. I like AI way more than Nash but it's not crazy at all to say that if you're starting a team from scratch Nash is possibly a better choice.

We've seen Harden with antoni (no d) just imagine Iverson with a run and gun coachThose suns teams might not be as good with Iverson either, Nash was the perfect PG to run the 7 seconds or less offense with
Iverson isn’t a better shooter or playmaker than Nash
They make their money from podcasts. Spotify still needs to grow thereSpotify paid $200M for a website?![]()
Well shyt.. Simmons won.

...he played on a LOT of stacked squads...in prime AI with Dirk and Finley and them on the Mavs? I don't know, but I wouldn't reduce their odds...they ended up beating the Spurs and getting further than the much glorified SSOL after trading Nash...so I can't call it

When did AI have a star teammate and refuse to adapt? When he played with Melo his effiency went up
Iverson was 5'11 , barely even 6'0 and he spent most of his prime playing in one of the most defensive eras in NBA history. How efficient did you expect him to be? When he went to Denver, his efficieny went up. Very few perimeter players were really that efficient in the early 2000's.
