I don’t act like that he was a great player. He definitely was NOT as good as Iverson![]()
lol i love AI but he was the posterboy for ball hogging and inefficient..the same shyt yall kill Melo for, but praise AI for smh

To be consistent that jump was probably due to rule changes too. The league continued to get more efficient after they REALLY started enforcing hand checking.he went from shooting 38-42% most years in philly to 45-46% in Denver. 46 is more than good enough for that type of player on that era. That’s not inefficient
Why do y’all rate him so high![]()
If Iverson played with the support that Nash had he accomplishes WAY more.

Lead em to what?I’m taking Nash
He can be great in any system and lead all time offenses
I don’t fukking kill Melo. He’s just a fatass that’s been my only issue with him.lol i love AI but he was the posterboy for ball hogging and inefficient..the same shyt yall kill Melo for, but praise AI for smh
They fall for the cac propaganda. AI was playing 41-43mpg per game too....CARRYING TEAMS EVERY fukkING NIGHT....nash never played more than 34.6mpg And didn’t start consistently playinG 30mpg until he was 26 LOL
who the hell was gonna pass the ball on those teams cause it sure as hell wouldnt have been AI![]()
this is the problem.
you don't give enough credit to what the team around Iverson did to help them win.
What good is being one of the greatest shooters ever if you don't shoot that much. Nash himself admits now that he should've looked to score more. Everybody says Nash "made his teammates better" but pretty much every teammate he's had has had just as good if not better seasons without him. Nash is a great player no doubt. But if starting a team from scratch Nash isn't who I'd start with. I'd want the superstar scorer first and then Nash as my second pick to help setup the number one. With Nash you'd need to surround him with defenders AND scorers. Iverson you'd need to surround him with defenders as he's shown he can carry a team's offense on his back. Nash pretty much his entire career played with at least two 20 point per game scorers.
cause he's one of the best shooters and passers in NBA history
why do yall act like he was Dan dikkau, Jordan Farmer or Steve Blake![]()
I think if Iverson played with similar talent as Nash he would’ve accomplished more.accomplishes way more in terms of what, championships? with the increased competition in the West?

He had a decent team around him but AI was carrying heavy loads.....a man plays 43mpg for a full season and you don’t give him credit THATS the problem
He deserved the first oneHe deserved those MVP's bruh
who was his competition en route to the NBA Finals. I don't really get why Iverson making the finals is something that reflects solely on his abilities and never the team and the league circumstances at that time.
Nash's early injury struggles were the reason for his slow start. Not ability. If you want to choose Iverson because you think he's more durable, fine. But Nash in his prime has a great case as being a better player than Iverson off the strength of his historically great playmaking and creation efficiency.
People overlook that in Phoenix the medical staff helped to rejuvenate his health. It's not that MDA made him into anything. The situation in general was good for his career.
