Ai gotta be most loved hated athlete before LeBron. I think that 96 draft might be more iconic then the 84 I'm only speaking from my observation I was born in 88 but I knew the impact of the 84 draft with mj dream n cb34 but that 96 draft came at a cultural shifting time in the middle of the 90s era which transcended bbal for me being from Chicago that 96 bulls team n 96 draft inspired my whole city I never even knew about nun f those players in the draft just the swag that every player had in that changed the came giving us a sneak peak of what the NBA will be after mj retired ai n Kobe was the most iconic ones lets not forget how they all was trendy setters in their own right. Nash is my biased favorite player, but hear me out.

Iverson was a 2 guard... Nash was a pure point. You cant compare them at all. Saying Finals this or bullshyt that is tired too, East Vs West kills that argument

I take Nash based on the fact that he was a machine and 80% of the offense nightly ran through him and he was shooting at the highest percentage of all time
while carrying bums (which I'm not going to discuss in every Suns thread) A.I carried bums too obviously. Saying I'd take Nash over Iverson isnt saying Iverson is bad by any measure.
I look at people like Stockton, who gets absolutely no credit even while playing D ... and its obvious most people just arent going to jump on board with greatness (race or not) based on what style they like.
Saying Nash was eh... or average is disproven by his efficiency and wins for over a decade. D'antoni gets credit for Nash calling plays in a freelance offense which shaped the game that's happening today.

If AI had matured his game earlier he would have been held in higher regard. Because he became a better point guard in his later years. Yes Steve Nash didn't peak until Pheonix but he was already a good passer and very efficient.

While I do think AI's inefficiency was over stated. He could shoot you out of a game in one too many key moments.
