He hit his prime at 27 when he averaged 18/7.5 on 47/41/91 and was at the point for the leagues best offense. When he was All-Star and All-NBA. 27 is when most players are in their prime. His absolute peak was at 31.

One of the greatest passers ever had flair and highlights for days. Today he’d be looking to score a lot more.

AI was a superior guard in every way besides passing. Nash was the better playmaker . AI could do everything Nash could do offensively and more.

They are equals. CP3 and AI also weren't drafted on the same team as KJ and J. Kidd. Not one of these players are playing above Kidd or KJ on that Suns squad. I'll give you the point that it took Nash longer to get rolling, but once he did he was equal, if not better, than CP3 in my mind.....and it wasn't just D'antoni system. Nash didn't always need the ball like Chris does. He could curl off screens or let someone else get busy if needed.....That said, I'd probably still take Chris over Nash over AI, CP3's soul is dog shyt, but I don't think it's an insult they're in the same grouping.

How can you say “it wasn’t just MDAs system” when he never was elite before nor prior to that system?? Again he was good/borderline all star in Dallas, not elite. CP3 was elite his whole career across different systems across 4 teams. AI was elite his whole career with many coaches. You have NO evidence that Nash was elite outside of MDAs system.

He lost a starting job battle to Robert Pack in his 4th season I’m not ignoring any circumstance. If he was AI level it doesn’t take THAT long to take off and he’d be able to do it with different systems. The lakers even had to hire MDA over Phil cuz they thought that was the only way to make the Nash trade worth it
