African music is running shyt right now period. I love the fact American artists are collabing with them too. Every week there’s a big rapper or singer dropping a song with Africans. Add in the UK brehs like Dave and Sketpa and Caribbean nikkas and we pretty much getting it poppin worldwide with black artists collabing with each other.

I remember having to explain to someone that Ofori Amponsah was highlife and not afrobeat, but at this point i'm not sure anyone cares
