The idea of Rick Rubin being an actual producer is still absolutely mind numbing to me. This man has literally come out and said he's never touched a piece of equipment in his life

Didn't read but is DJ-Uneek on here? He should at least be top 10 based off E.1999 Eternal alone (complete masterpiece) ... then when you add the art of War :whew:

Additionally, some of these producers mentioned didn't break artists.

That's a whole other difficult task to do.

That means rather than spend your time grinding trying to make beats for an established artist, you went out and recognized the talent in a no-namer and built something together.

This.

Personally, I don't feel comfortable putting a producer in a Top 10 that didn't break an artist. That and I feel like the producer pushed the sound if not the culture forward.
