They gotta get rid of the TNA name. That shyt was dated in 2006, and 10 years later it's downright hokey and awful.

They should really just drop the TNA name all together as soon as possible. I mean just that paragraph alone is a display of how unnecessarily confusing they've made shyt, makes it sound like 2 different companies that are merging or something.
You are right one of the biggest problems they have is they still dont know how to brand wwe are experts at this.

I always assumed that TNA was the company while Impact was the name of the show. Like WWE/Raw. Am I wrong?

Like, TNA, they even fukked this up, They kind of changed to "Impact" as their brand name, kind of didn't. Like the website URL and all that, but then in press releases: "TNA". I was done with this joke of a company a long time ago. It's embarrassing. If you tried to write a list of their ten biggest gaffs, you honestly couldn't even narrow it down. Just awful in every respects. And I try to see the good in most things: TNA are just that fukking awful.

When I think of how they lost their deal with Spike: a company who bent over backwards for them, words can't describe how bad the situation was.

You would be correct. Impact Wrestling is the name of their premier weekly show.
The only wrinkle is that TNA is no longer the company name, 2015 it changed it Impact Ventures.

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling is a privately held American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded by its former President, Jeff Jarrett, and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jerry Jarrett, in 2002 as J Sports & Entertainment, LLC,[8] it is the second-largest professional wrestling promotion in the United States, after WWE.[9][10]

Panda Energy International (a.k.a. Panda Energy) purchased a controlling interest (71%) in the company in 2002 from Jerry,[11] re-incorporating it to TNA Entertainment, LLC in the process. Then, in 2012, Panda Energy divested itself of its stake in TNA. Jeff, the company's former Vice President, departed the company as Executive Vice President of Development/Original Programming on December 22, 2013, but remained as minority shareholder until his return on June 24, 2015. Jarrett's departure as minority shareholder, and therefore his complete departure from the company, came as a result of his return to the promotion, with the deal for his return including the transfer of his minority stake.[12][13] According to reports, in 2012, when Panda Energy divested itself of its ownership stake in TNA, TNA's President and Panda Energy founder Robert Carter and President and Chief Executive Officer Janice Carter's daughter, Dixie, acquired said stake, making her TNA's majority shareholder. Then, in 2015, when Jarrett sold his minority stake, Dixie acquired that as well, placing her as TNA's sole shareholder,[14] along with her continuing as President.[15] According to a report, on August 7, 2015, TNA filed a new business name of Impact Ventures LLC.[16] It was reported on June 6, 2016 that Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan acquired a minority stake in TNA from Dixie Carter, placing him as TNA's minority owner and Dixie's partner within TNA.[7] Then, on August 12, 2016, TNA fully transitioned to the Impact Ventures business name.[1] TNA's headquarters are located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Russo picked the name didn't he?
Why are y'all worried about the name of the company :dead:

It literally has nothing to do with the show :dead:
Yes it does. It affects the perception and has since day one

Billy Corgan Talks About His New Role In TNA

Billy Corgan posted a new video statement on Facebook in which he spoke about his new job as the President of TNA and the status of the Smashing Pumpkins. Here are highlights:

– He has been talking with bass player D’arcy Wretzky for the first time in years and there has been speculation that the original lineup would get back together. He said: “We’re not at that point and I think that’s a good thing. We’re not rushing.

– He said the band could reunite but it will be about music. He said he is a father now and wants his son to see someone on stage that he can admire.

– He is “very passionate” about his job in TNA and doing things outside of music makes him love music more. He said focusing entirely on music “drove me literally out of my mind.” Having a career outside of it lets him be a “better musician” and a “better man.” His music career is “on the rails” for the first time in a long time.

On his love of pro wrestling: “I love professional wrestling, I’m not backing down from that. Some of my best friends are in professional wrestling. It’s an absolute honor to now be president of a major company that no only has a long, rich history, but is also going to change the world that I am inhabiting as well. I plan to be as successful in wrestling as I have been in music.”

On staying committed to music: “I’m actually more in love with music than I’ve been in a long time.”

On being President of the size of a company like TNA: “There are many challenges. This company has had some really difficult things gong on internally. I’ve obviously stepped in… partially on the ownership side and also in management.”

– He said that it’s fun and cool and he plans to “evolve it forward.” He thinks it’s possible to make it the “coolest” “edgiest” and “most groundbreaking” wrestling show of the 21st Century. He also mentioned “content wars” coming on the Internet with Netflix and others stepping in to become their own TV networks.

– He added that being president of TNA is “an awesome responsibility.” He has a responsibility to the employees and wrestlers to make sure the company is headed in the right direction.

He added: “So for those people who want me to fail, those people who are so into the other company that they want me to fail, it ain’t gonna happen. Now if I lose and I fail because I tried, well then that’s just life. But I’m gonna fight because I love what I do and I don’t see anything wrong with it.

He said that wrestling is “lots of fun” and they were on a rooftop doing some “crazy shyt with drones.”

I love the way you can work out that their intelligence is somewhere in between having the sense to take the branding off the bottles of water, but not having enough sense to just pour that shyt into a couple of glasses to present a better and classier image.

TNA is a joke, because the people running it are clowns.
