OKC will definitely need to have a few more gears in the playoffs if they want to be successful. Westbrook and George are about as dynamic as they come, but they have yet to show me consistent greatness.
The thing that's missing from Westbrook is his willingness to stay within his game and use it as leverage early on (though he's shown improvement in recent games). Westbrook should be threatening to blow the game open by the end of the first quarter with his drives and midrange game. From there, George should feel empowered to start cooking from everywhere.
OKC's reality is that Westbrook is their number one option. And he's very capable if he plays more strategically. But it seems like he likes to play on emotion alone SMH.
