For some of them (not all) it taints their image about him keeping it "real". And if some of them admit he lied, it opens the door to what else he lied about in the whole situation. You naturally start wondering if you can believe him with everything else he said

Pac didn’t say Biggie set him up so no. nikkas is running around lying on Pac confusing the situation. The biggest lie is people who keep claiming Pac said Biggie set him up. Pac actually said who set him up in his music. He didn’t hide it. And he said in interviews that he didn’t feel Biggie called any shots in setting him up.
