Dude been dropping nothing but piff since Hidden Places in 2019 and I'd say he's the best lyricist in hip-hop right now next to Lupe Fiasco.









Aethiopes is my favorite hip-hop album of the 2020's so far. Quelle Chris/Chris Keys -Innocent Country 2 is a close second.

He's the best rapper right now, alongside Boldy James. The wit and lyrical depth are just a level above everyone right now.

Haven't really thought about 2020s lists much but Aethiopes has to be a top 3 album for me over the last three years.

His flow. I have the same hang-up with billy woods, I'm not sure how to describe it, it almost sounds like I'm listening to a run-on sentence. The music is good but comparing it to DOOM is crazy, of course the production was very different, but DOOM rode the beat and was able to amaze you with lyrical ability, it also helped that he was funny.

To be fair, a part of me feels this way about the flow because of my virulent hatred of spoken word/slam poetry corniest art form ever created

What's weird is I remember liking History Will Absolve Me, I didn't keep up with his music, but I felt like the shift happened around the moor mother album. At the time, my boss banned Billy Woods from being played in the barbershop
