Anyone here use supplements / other habits for this? I try to go by science but sometimes just go by personal results. Asterisk means it’s been studied to some extent scientifically, here’s what I use:

*Creatine - 5mg first thing in morning improves short term memory and cognition for a few hours

*Full spectrum light / sun exposure 30 minutes in morning - increases dopamine for several hours

*Cold shower for ~3 minutes - immersing head increases dopamine for several hours

*probiotic - neuroprotective from dementia, they say gut health is brain health (I use the Stonehenge brand and eat small amount of kimchi from Whole Foods nightly)

Aspirin 81mg nightly - doctor told me to take it for cardioprotective and stroke protection. I feel clearer with less brain fog

What do others do? Low / no sugar diet? NAC?

Sleep is #1. All of that means nothing if you're not getting a good 7-8 hours a night, ideally going to sleep and waking up at the same time everyday.

Aside from that, 30-45 minutes of exercise daily, alternating between strength training days and cardio days is a solid place to start.

Master those two first and be consistent. Everything else builds from that foundation.

Agreed great points. Fs sleep, diet, and exercise are first three. I was meaning above and beyond that.
