no double standards or excuses!!!!

50 in his prime prided himself on his dominance through record sales. nas is/was all about the music and quality.(he did not always deliver, but dope music is nas' calling card. the reason why to this day all his albums get compared to the industry bench mark that is ILLMATIC)

unlike 50 who downright clowned nikkas for selling a million or two (e.g. fat joe), nas never made a big deal about his reccord sales.

50s legacy is tied to record sales, while nas' legacy is about quality music.

and that is the reason why nas is still musically relevant, while 50 has to keep himself relevant through non-music endeavors!!

NOW GO BACK AND SUPPORT THAT NON-EVENT THAT IS ANIMAL AMBITION WHILE WE NAS FANS ENJOY THE ROYAL TREATMENT THAT THE GOAT HAS BEEN GETTING ALL YEAR!!!

1. That's not true...BISD fell off the charts at 436K (the reason why 50 stans never give the actual soundscan #, but just tout the gold certification it got for shipping numbers)....so it only sold more than Nas' most recent album, Life is Good...but that's only because LIG dropped in '12...50 couldn't even generate enough buzz to get a release date despite trying to do so since 2010...had he actually been allowed to release an album anytime in the past 3 or 4 years, he would've undoubtedly not sold more than LIG's 380k

2. he's been dropped from interscope, signed to a low budget pseudo-indie label for washed up acts, and will be doing sub-big sean numbers for the duration of his career....50 Cent couldn't even sustain interest in his career long enough to put out 5 albums as a premier major label artist...he had a nelly/ja rule fly by night type career arc...Nas is one of the very highest elite acts in hip hop history as far as longevity goes...like 10,11, albums deep all gold or platinum over the course of 15plus years...

50 is that shyt but I guess it depends how you're lookin at music. Personally I find it shallow to claim one album is better than the other just because millions of dumbfukks by music mostly for how someone flows on the track and the production. Only time I ever seen people really care about lyrical content is here on coli but I grew up in the suburbs so mainstream/extremely commercial/suburban hip hop n shyt are obv the more popular lane here. (And how often do you hear mainstream/extremely commercial/suburban hip hop producing classic, lyrical tracks)
I'm lookin forward to Animal Ambition. Smoke been blarin in my A to B goin to the gym, at the gym:wow::blessed:. It seems like Fifty ain't gonna be doing heavy numbers on Ambition (But how do we know yet?), I just know Fifty is a cheeky ruthless kunt and I'm just hopin he somehow pulls mad sales out the ass to see mad Coli rage threads. Or at the very least I wanna see him surpass Mastermind in sales :jawalrus:

edit: my opinion might be skewed cuz of suburbia so Idk. parties out here got shabba remixes playin like mad so :ld:
