Dr. Watkins is the truth. He is a brilliant mind and undoubtedly about Black empowerment, and doesn't ever seem to be a victim of his ego. He's about action and information to inspire and not to mislead to push a narrative

You're reaching and making claims without evidence of who came up with BLM agenda. So all we could do is focus on their positive actions and explicit reference to Blackness, not "people of color" or "minority," to conclude if they are for or against Blackfolks

More importantly, if you don't like gay folks, just say you don't
So we could keep it moving cause you nikkas claim to be about black empowerment, but that is dependent on those black folks that share your political, social views, health status and sexual orientations

Not true...Dr watkins is pointing out simple facts..there will be no empowerment without families,and that needs fathers as well

and frankly gay rights was never really an issue that needed such urgent redress in the Black community..it was the White catholics , Evangelicals and KKK who led the way in homophobia...
im not saying there was no homophobia among Negros... im saying it certainly wasnt the #2 or #3 issue that needed to be dealt with.

Having overlapping goals or interest, don't mean you're in cahoots with others, especially among the various profit and not-for-profit organizations
BLM says they are about Black folks regardless of political, social, tax brackets, and sexual orientation. Liberals are not embracing all types if Black folks unless they view the world similarly

Dr. Wakins is questioning whether BLM is trying to exclude the Blackman by reasoning whether the omission of the words "Blackmen" is a hint to their agenda
I think if he really felt BLM was about undermining the Blackfamily, then he wouldn't be supporting it at all

BLM has forced Black folks to examine their interpretation of the phrase "being pro-black," because it's obvious that you are not "pro-black," unless that Black person's lifestyle, political, social and sexual orientation mimics yours
