BJJ theory: A skilled smaller person will always win. So why wouldn't it also work against a Chimp?

if a small Royce Gracie type breh would beat The Rock in BJJ then why is it laugable to assume a human would be an ape in Brazilian jujitsu?

we joke around but in all seriousness if the theory is correct a skilled human should always come out on top, no?

No

Monkey can rip your dikk off

breh a chimp would mangle you with one hand and rip your face off in the process
chimps are far stronger than humans. humans are actually pretty fragile and weak.

Chimpanzees vs. Humans: Sizing Up Their Strength.

Indeed, chimpanzees have been shown to be about four times as strong as humans comparable in size, according to evolutionary biologist Alan Walker, formerly of Pennsylvania State University.

Research suggests the difference in strength between the two lies in the muscle performance.

In chimps, the muscle fibers closest to the bones -- those deemed to be the source of strength of both chimps and humans – are much longer and more dense, so a chimp is able to generate more power using the same range of motion, Ross of the Lester Fisher Center said.

so basically a skilled 5'5 130lbs BJJ artist doesn't stand a chance against a body builder is what ur saying

:jbhmm:
The structures of chimps and humans are entirely different. Including muscular. Density is a whole different level. This is a wild animal, not another human.

Id be curious if they could replicate the skeletal and muscular development of a chimp in a human embyro

Should only require some genetic tweaking

Angry chimps will rip the skin off of a face with bare hands.

An arm bar takedown from one of them would rip your whole arm out of the socket. :picard:

Can technical skills overcome an athletic deficit? To a certain extend, yes. That's too big of a deficit to overcome, though.

Yes, that Gracie marketing/propaganda has been Apple-level, but you have to be realistic. You cannot fall for the No Limits fallacy here. Hell, BJJ has been a sport full of some of the most blatant steroid abusers on the planet. Even Royce Gracie himself tested positive for the Sakuraba rematch.

The same way men are stronger than women. More muscles than fat. Denser bone structure. Now multiply that by a factor of 4 to 8 and that’s the difference between a chimp/ape/gorilla and a human male. They’re stronger, more durable, have higher pain thresholds and they don’t fight like humans. They fight to kill and maim. They will rip your nuts off and snatch your nose off your face. Win a Darwin Award if you want to.
