This commentator puts too much emphasis on lack of glove defense.

You can still use cross guard and arm/elbow blocks that are common in regular boxing. You can’t parry with the same confidence, sure...but the adjustment is easy for a boxer.

It’s crazy that people think boxers use a ear muff style of defense, it’s like they don’t even watch boxing lol
