No. The Amazon show was in development but they announced it so it doesn't look like a ripoff/shot at HBO. With or without Confederate, we still would probably get Black America.

I know this show is a response to HBO, but I believe the premise would have been more interesting if the focus was solely on blacks coming together today to create a ethno-state in response to the failures of multiculturalism and the rise of ethno-white nationalism in the west. As it stands now, I don't suffer from any form of inferiority complex towards whites, therefore, I don't find a dynamic switch interesting to explore.
I was just saying did the Confederate Show hear about "Black America" and tried to beat them to "it". But I get what you're saying.

Season 4 was trash.
Homie shouldn't have let AS finesse him for his show.Seasons 1 , 2 and 3 are classics though.

I don't know what the fukk Bomani is talking about. Black people keep giving Bomani a lot of passes for shytting on blacks just because he wore that Caucasians shirt on TV but McGruder has been a lot bolder riding for black people and put his life at risk. The comic strips he released after 9/11 keeping the spotlight on Bush and Cheney had everybody mad at him. The whole country was coming together to shout down anybody who didn't fall in line with jingoism fully. The emotions were high, liberals and conservatives didn't want to hear an opposing view and Aaron stood strong on his opinions through death threats and his livelyhood at risk.
Bomani laughs at black people and throws us under the bus all the time so he is nobody to judge Aaron. Bomani called Nate Parker a rapist, talks about Miles Davis and Bill Withers allegedly beating women all just so he can cover and defend some feminist agenda on twitter or lgbt community agenda. Bomani also threw Berry Gordy under the bus to defend a recently deceased Jerry Heller. We also see Bomani took time out of his busy schedule to shyt on an Aaron McGruder project before it has been completed for him to review but he didn't go this hard on the HBO slavery never ended project. HBO might give Bomani a role in that slavery wasnt so bad show right next to Issa Rae.
Whenever there is a black person murdered by police or the bullshyt trial and not guilty verdict Bomani goes on twitter and posts like he was given a script "I will not let them take away my power and my self worth and my life worth" or some soft bullshyt like that which basically translates to "I love my fame and money so please don't riot or do anything that might set shyt off and cause me to lose all my nice things because its marshall law or finally the full race war not the one sided one the cops and this country have been waging since they brought us here against our will." He was more brave before his career/finances/fame really took off now he stays on the liberal codes and black people are happy with the 10% of carefully worded love he shows our issues but his 90% of tweets and actions are about the carefully outlined liberal democrat agenda ignoring black issues but tell us to vote and tells us he voted and keeping his great life moving forward.
We need to stay on code right now when even HBO is acting bold and racist like Foxnews so Bomani is not on our side if he attacks Birth Of A Nation and this what if reparations were paid McGruder show but he praised the Girls Trip project from Mister Packer. So its okay to show black people bullshytting but not showing how much better our people would be in this country if they paid the reparations they owe us.
It's like bomani,the rest of blue check black Twitter and the white owned but pretending to be black media like bossip all get the same marching orders to promote liberal gay LGBT community agendas and attack positive inspirational impactful black projects that question and fight white supremacy but to praise ignorance put out by c00ns who don't like or respect black people that's why Hollywood chose them(issa rae Donald Glover) because they are not uncomfortable showing lies and negative stereotypes about African Americans. One of the Atlanta writers went to Yale but instead of showing a true reflection of his experience with racism at pwi he is feeding negative stereotypes about a city black people love. The award shows prove how much white supremacists love that show Atlanta and it doesn't make them uncomfortable or think about their racism.
I would trade a billion Bomani Jones for one Aaron McGruder.
