I'd be wary of moving to Dagoland, on account of Meloni's fakkit ass being in power, but she could prolly rent it out as an airbnb in the future, good investment 
I watched this video over the weekend with my girl. Based on what this woman said, moving overseas for retirement may be the new wave. I know this woman isn't retired but I believe she mentioned the cost of living there will allow her to retire early. You can get a house cheaper, food is cheaper, the house you get may have more character than these mass manufactured surburb homes, and the political instability in the US is going to only get worse. Not to mention the cherry on top you can probably find some place scenic as fukk.
This is why it's important to travel because people don't even realize that their "normal" can be better or it's dysfunctional because they have no other frame of reference to compare it to. Therefore, they are less likely to make moves to change their possibly terrible "normal" because they honestly don't have any concept of how it can be different. Seeing the rest of the world can provide that perspective.

I don't want to, but I gotta be that guy. If she was young, sexy and had all the italicrehs going crazy, the reception probably wouldn't be so warm. She is also likely omitting the racism she's faced.
OTOH, those grocery prices are insane, and the food is probaly better quality that the US. Hope her son's experience is good.
