It just comes down to our history in the country. Most black people tend to be instinctively against WS policies, whether they're directly aimed at us or not. We just get how this works in ways that immigrant groups really don't.

On the other hand there's a pretty sizable percentage of Latinos (obviously moreso in some subgroups) that either consider themselves white (or at least better than the people they think Trump is talking about) or just don't get how WS works.

What they dont understand is it doesnt stop with their enemies. The venezuelans and cubans for trump learned this the hard way.

Its fascinating watching Republicans run divide and conquer in real time on another group.

I'm not a fan of the rhetoric of people accusing Black folks of being on the "Democratic plantation" but we have to undo a lot of the programming from the Democratic Party even though I agree with like 80% of the Democratic policies.


Our people need to start looking out for our own longer term interest in this country.

A good amount of Latin Americans are ethnically White. It’s something like 1/5, so that’s already working against them.

Also a CBS poll isn’t exactly consensus, doubt many “brown” Latin Americans answer those things.

If this poll was correct, it would show in real life whereas Black people would be outside protesting these deportations.

Black people are not outside in large numbers protesting these deportations.
