Of course not all...:comeon:

I'm not dissing our people, cuz it's just from observations and person knowledge. We're just too surface level and it's hurts us in the long run. We think it's funny not to read instruction manuals to devices and even to our cars. I see some of us buying the most unreliable, high repair billing vehicles on the market do to lack on knowledge and research. Even with politics, we vote with our hearts and emotions. Never following the paper trails or researching candidates voting history. We be so passionate about Politics with no clue of the candidates history.

We called Bill Clinton the 1st Black President. All he did was play the Saxophone we fell in love. I still cringe when I hear that. :snoop:

I think we feed too much into symbolism and perception. Hillary Clinton does the Cupid Shuffle and we're on Cloud 9. Men or Women buys their kids a Nike suit and Jordans, they're great parents now. It's like we're in a rush to make up our minds or to create a conclusion on a person or situation. A lot of people and situations need to be studied, researched and examined.

We have to start valuing intelligence and real knowledge, not these easy degrees just to say we have a degree and higher education. We need to study which degree plans are more valuable and helps us achieve out ultimate goals. So many of us come out of college with dreams, high salary expectations with a worthless degree and mortgage like student loan debts.

Theyve been duping and playing forever because of our lack of knowledge. Time for us to go deeper and look at the details.

We can get our knowledge from watching intellectuals like 19 keys, Dr. Umar,The Honorable Tariq Nasheed, Dr. Sebi, Dane Calloway, Jay Morrison, etc.

The first problem is mentality. I had people in another thread, last month, argue me up and down regarding this, but I honestly don’t care who doesn’t like it.

Because we have been “underdogs” in this country for so long, we tend to be pessimistic and have a chip on our shoulders. We’re quick to challenge each other and out to prove that the next man doesn’t know what he’s talking about or can’t tell us anything. We waste A LOT of time bumping our heads, trying to find our way through the dark, rather than learn from others.

Our youth tends to think they have it all figured out, with no long term vision, just shortsighted goals that tend to be superficial and materialistic.

If we can address mentality first everything else falls into place.

@Stuntone, @Ezekiel 25:17, @King Poetic, @Wig Twistin Season, @Bigblackted4, @shopthatwrecks, @lowkey0z, @ReasonableMatic, @Brolic,

I did a search for posts by usernames and in that incredible thread full of gems. No posts. Maybe the search feature is broken.

Either way. If y'all have any suggestions, any good reads or reviews, please put them here

No lie. This is probably the best thread on the site.

So many gems and recommendations, and by the time you make a choice, read and come back there's always more.

I have every page saved so if this site ever goes down the information can be ported where ever.

It's that damn good.

This is just my digital book. From July 5th til today I've got 98 hrs on it. And I still read real books.

So I don't know how many hours a week or month I actually read.
