T. Greg Doucette is a criminal defense lawyer in North Carolina who also writes a legal blog. And he’s got some things to say:
When an e-mail file is imported into law, it uses GMT time. When you tiff, the file is opened in outlook and uses the system time rather than the GMT time. Which can give you different times depending on if the times match up or not.
For the e-docs… law gives you the time to the second. But the tiff rounds it up to the minute. This will give you a difference in time of a minute.pla
