Had this happen to me in either middle school. Neighborhood barber I was going to started smoking and not weed. He was pretty much a functional fiend and his fades were all kinds of messed up by then. I gave up on him. Other Black barber shops were in other neighborhoods that I didn't feel like travelling to via bus and plus I hated waiting in line. Hate that to this day. Went to a Boric's and it was a Black woman who cut me but she didn't know what she was doing. I got clowned so bad.

Back when I had hair there was this barbershop where an older Dominican woman used to cut hair and she was nice. She cut my hair regularly
