Black Christians: Have you ever left the Church and went back?

folks at that church were very elitist. If you didn't attend that church from the jump, or wasn't friends with people that attended that church from the jump, they treated you like an outcast. i was looking for a community more than just a place of worship, that shyt really turned me off to going to that specific church. i mean yeah i could've went to others but i just didn't and stopped going.

i only went back once because i had family that was visiting and they wanted to see me

That was the kind of church I was in growing up. It rubbed me the wrong way as well.
