Appraisal is usually one of the most nerve wrecking process during home ownership or sale so the stress and frustration they felt must have been insane. Another resource is cfpb, they can help out in these cases as well.

Nowadays they do a lot more desktop appraisals which is when they just search your address in a database without visiting the actual home. That appraiser deserves to be fired and blackballed. I would sue.
