is that so? where did you get this info. is it zoned for that?

They look great. Hopefully this Black owned development retains its prestige. That man has done wonderful things and the residents will have to follow suit.

This is going to be a mixed income community, but the idea of gifting this woman the home is a practical one that developers of low income communities should adopt.
Either gift or subsidize the purchase for people who will anchor the community.

Have said here before that the biggest mistake of gentrifying developers/planners is that they end up booting out the anchors/pillars if the community.

The real estate is cheap to purchase because the neighborhood declined. BUT, there were long time residents whose efforts keep the communities from completely falling apart.
Their reward for trying to maintain their areas? Getting displaced/priced out , just like the riff raff who helped destroy it.

Who are the anchors/pillars of the community? Section 8 women pass the tests but end up bringing ain't shyt dudes to the neighborhood.
