I can’t front.. this is maybe the 2nd place I’ve lived where gunshots weren’t common almost every night. It’s peaceful honestly. Besides the Mexicans getting drunk and sleeping outside the laundromat and the hobos who live under the overpass, there’s not much to see or complain about and I’m good with that at this point.

I don’t interact with my neighbors except for the nice old world Italian lady next door . I’m also in NY so I’m a walk away from “real NYC” so i don’t know of that counts .

Since im older now and prefer quietness and my yard and house clean, I wouldn’t mind living in a area where people just mind they business, with no kids running wild and their yard maintenance

Damn this thread is kinda wild to me. I moved from PG County to the Florida panhandle, which is definite Trump country, and I'll never look back honestly.
I expected to be on check a cac time for a good bit and was on edge the first year but shyt is gravy. Maybe due to the area being a mix of southern and military, but the people are stupid nice and respectful.

You have to be older/mature for sure. In my 20s or 30s I definitely couldnt see myself here.
