IDK if we're waiting till the competition gets close. Anyway, it'll take place in Spain from August 30 to September 14 an the USAB team are the defending champs.

The draw for the preliminary rounds has been made yesterday :

- Group A: France, Spain, Serbia, Brazil, Egypt, Iran
- Group B: Aregntina, Greece, Croatia, Senegal, Puerto Rico, Philippines
- Group C : USA, Ukraine, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Finland, New Zealand
- Group D: Slovenia, Lithuania, Angola, Mexico, South Korea, Australia

Each team face-off against each other one time druing this round. The top 4 from each group will advance to the round of 16 where it'll be a single elimination game till the winner is decided.

How did Brazil get in this? I know they didn't qualify because i watched the Fiba Americas tourney and they were awful and got eliminated early
