This is definitely discrimination, and has been going on for years in NY. Won't get better until black people start owning more, instead of renting. Yes, I know thats easier said than done. But that's just what the bottom line is.

But na in most of the places I’ve lived and rented this is the case. Jewey landlords won’t rent to us unless they’re getting over.
But Let’s not act like “we’re” the best renters most of the time. Toys all in the front yard, won’t cut the grass on a regular basis, too many cars (one of them is an old skool that ain’t ran in years), same empty box of Newport’s on the lawn all winter long, black n mild tips everywhere, loud ass domestic disputes, tub leaks all year long won’t tell the owner. I could go on for days.

I look at the arguments from both sides, can't seem to find any holes in this story on her side. Good credit score, no missed payments. Sounds like discrimination to me.
