I met her in NYC back when I was in college. I was a member of YDS, a radical leftist outfit that reports to the DSA, I believe.

Anyway, yeah, so she was one of the speakers at this event. It was strange as hell to see her devout followers swarming toward her all wearing the same t-shirt. It was like they were in a cult. The attention totally distracted from the entire event. After she spoke all her followers left. Super creepy.

Oh, and that Democracy Now program she runs is hella suspect. HELLA suspect.
