Last few days been giving me a panic attack coli fam like what is this shyt :mjtf:

went back home for the Fourth of July weekend and I went to the local grocery store. About 80 percent of the people in the store happened to be obese. Then I randomly saw an old breh in the frozen food section throw up everywhere. they got it all situated for him but that shyt made me so sad alone that day. Literally no one in that store looked healthy at all and I’m talking about from the big girls to the brehs who look like they abuse too much booze or drugs :to:

Then I come home to find out a lot of my older family members and family of the friends (all in their early 40s) are having major health issues right now.

It seems Ike none of them want to address the elephant in the room. No one eats better nobody works out it’s just smoking weed and watching tv all day everyday.

then everyone I know here in their 20s diet consist of a blunt for breakfast fast food for lunch and a bottle for the night. Following the same paths of the older folks.

:snoop::snoop: This shyt been having me stressed!!!!!!!

There’s nothing you can really do unless that’s your fam
Hell even if it is your fam it can be a fight sometimes
As for the guy throwing up everywhere :scust:he might have other stuff going on

Be the change you wish to see
It’s impossible to make grown folks do anything
At least if someone sees you doing better ,you may inspire them to do better as well

Imagine being stressed by random people's health. People who visually "look" healthy could be worse off than the fat people you saw.

Lol. Why do people spout this nonsense.

The external reflection is an inner manifestation. No fat person is healthier than someone who has a healthy look. A fat person is a VERY sick person.

Of course but that don't mean they're going to drop dead on the spot :yeshrug:

Back in my 20s I started seeing the path I would head down if I didn't change my habits and have been health conscious ever since. I tried to get family and friends on the same wave but at the end of the day you can't save everyone. I let them know I'm here to help when they're ready and just pray for them:yeshrug:

I almost dread going to see my pops because I hate seeing him in the condition he’s in.

5’11, 265. Diabetes, high blood pressure, 59 and has to use a cane cuz of gout and arthritis.

Still drinking his Pepsi, eating his ribs & chicken, holiday deserts.

This dude use to run marathons and bike when I was a shorty. Ran D2 cross country. He asks me every time I go over there “How did you lose weight”( I went from 235 to 175 last year) and I tell him the same shyt. Cut back on the sugar, fasting, no soda, start walking around the neighborhood.

it’s frustrating and sad. I don’t eat red meat or soul food anymore and he calls me a “picky” eater
