Toronto is not really the place to make an observation on blacks. For starters blacks in Canada mimic blacks in the U.S. that migrated from the Deep South to northern, eastern, and western regions. Maybe if you were in cities in the states known for pizza and have strong African American culture communities like New York or Chicago you'd see the difference.
