Humor is largely the same around cultures. We both do satire, parodies, Philosophical humor, memes, dark humor, roasts, etc.
With that being said, the difference of Black and White humor are a reflections of our cultural differences and histories.
Black Humor:
Black humor on average tends to be highly confrontational, brutally honest, less "politically correct", and the comedians are usually very animated and profane (to rebel against the respectability politics of white america).
Race, black culture, and other realities of black life are common subjects.
Quintessential examples of Black humor are:
Paul Mooney and Richard Pryor; In living Color, Chappelle's show, Black Dynamite (TV show); and Friday.
White Humor(Does not include Jewish):
White humor is more diverse than black humor because white America is more economic and socially diverse.
Mainstream white humor is light, non-confrontational, inclusive, and "Clever" use of language. (to them its references and puns).
In terms of subject matter, most white humor deals with awkwardness and the consequences of intent vs result. (White people feel socially constrained).
Their jokes try to hit the audience in the head. Examples include: The Office, Modern Family, Friends, and Sports night.
Note: This style conforms to the social politics of Mainstream America.
However, There is a flip-side to White humor:
There is a less dominant style of White humor that is actually pretty similar to ours. Its built on a resentment of White culture itself and the failures of American society. This style is more confrontational, dark, and less political correct.
Examples: George Carlin, Louis CK, Bill Burr, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer (hybrid of this and the first) and You're the worst.
