Black ice got me yesterday, im lucky to be alive

i live in the boonies, was driving only like 40km/h then hit a sheet of black ice, i knocked over some farmers mailbox and went right into a small pond/snow embankment.

the road was so bad, even when i called the cops, the fire truck skidded off the road just ahead of me almost into the same spot i did.


my car is prob a total writeoff but im alive, ish was the scariest moment of my life brehs

i lost my phone in the water, my back hurts but at least im still kicking.


and yes i had snow tires

it is reliable, if i had my phone iw ould have taken pics
every car there was sliding, the road was so bad that after my accident the cops closed it, when i left the fire truck and police car were still stuck in the ditch.

it was a skating rink out there literally

be careful man, it's no joke that happened to me before. if anyone ever has been in that situation they know what it's like when u have no control at all of you're car, just hopefully you're not going to fast into incoming traffic or over a big drop where you could flip your car multiple times

on days where it's freezing rain and shyt breh, it's best to just stay home and not risk it.

i had zero control im lucky my car didnt flip and the water wasnt to deep i would have been dead.

i had to wait 20 minutes for the cops, luckily these two dudes and a lady stopped and i was able to keep warm in their car.
