Perhaps. We don't share the history and it's something AAs can't enforce black Africans to identify with. But Marcus Garvey was JA and Farakhan us WI so there is some precedent
Those guys listened to AAs and bumped into racist whites themselves and learned.

I didnt say all outsiders stay ignorant to racist whites. :yeshrug:

Im Nigerian but Ive always seen African American as a nationality.... to be honest nationality is somewhat of a false construct....

most modern countries in Africa are less than 60 years old, artificially drawn up by the colonialists ...

to most Africans, tribe >> nationality ......

Im Nigerian and my tribe is yoruba, I don't share the same ancestry as the ibo tribe for example, we don't share the same language, rulers, customs...etc , on a cultural level I have as much in common with an Ibo person as I do a Ghanian or African American....

However even though we are different we come together to form one nation..... The things that make me Nigerian are alien to my culture as a Yoruba person and I guess thats the same for all the other tribes....

Facts, this dweeb @Perfectson tried to tell me the following. :mjlol: :

Make the most of your situation but don't forget where you came from.

I think African Americans should have birthright programmes where they visit West Africa, go on nature visits, have a few language lessons and learn about the history of the old kingdoms. The deeper the roots
