- "Voting is a way as an educational way to see the political process, but it is not a solution whatsoever. Black people put a Black Mayor in Cleveland, and what's the difference, everything is still the same. You do not get changes from Voting, because you do not control the political process"
- "I'm a Political Scientist, but even I know there is a limit to which Black people can use the Electoral process to effect change"
- "We can not make alliances with our enemy. We can only make alliances with each other. You can not make alliances in the post segregation era because we have no power and prone to infiltration"
And 50+ years later we are still in a Political treadmill trying to be Voteps instead of gaining Black Economic Power
