Watched and listened to all four sets of comments.
Not one of them brought up that Trump, and that white congressman are leading the charge to remove Home Rule from DC citizens and lawmakers.
They might not like the optics of MAGA pushing the line, and pressing Mayor Bowser on this, but I think she's looking out for her constituents by securing and steering the funding that they are threatening to withhold.
If they were elected officials, in the same position, with the same responsibilities, Im not convinced that they would move differently.

Mayor Bowser was definitely in a tough spot. As much as we would all like Black Lives Matter Plaza to remain, DC desperately needs the stream of federal funding to not dry up.
