I'm assuming the people that lived there during that time also know this. Latinos got too comfortable taking credit for hip hop culture, and now they're being exposed.
We already discussed this. Hispanics got into hip-hop via osmosis since they were living in the same neighborhoods/projects as Black people, and it was the younger kids that got into it because their parents/elders were....
We lead them into a culture they had no part in creating.
