Let’s see the footage. If he was shoplifting releasing the footage shouldn’t be an issue. It should exonerate the shop owners in fact.

Now if you deliberately strangled or beat on the man after you had him subdued...that’s a different matter altogether. Either way, release the footage.

This similar scenario happened in Milwaukee WI some years back:

Black teenager seen 'stealing' 6 pack of beer by white patrons in West Allis, store owner called cops. Meanwhile white patrons subdued teen in a way that strangled him to death. No one was charged.

Father of teen who died after incident at convenience store to release photos
