At 10:15am today, police in wetsuits found Brandon waist-deep in water. His brother was found close by shortly after.

After the boys disappeared, Mrs Moore knocked on a nearby door for help but was told: 'I don't know you. I'm not going to help you.'

Mrs Moore then tried another neighbor near her Staten Island home, but when she rang the bell they turned off the lights and refused to answer.

Black dude dives in movie theater shielding her from bullets whilte the black woman is left alone and without any compassion or empathy. :wow:

If she was white do yall think someone would have :cape: for her?

Who says that the guy who closed the door to this woman and her children was black?

If you're familiar with Staten Island, where this woman was stranded with her kids is in a white area...Father Capadanno Blvd is most def you're typical italian white area in SI.

Second, the mother (who is black) had mixed biracial white/black kids. That being the case, why didn't the white people in that neighborhood :cape: for her? Seems like they didn't take care of one of their own

the guy sounded like a gay guy but thats irrelevant the guy claims he only saw a man throw a pot into his window...what i feel happened is that he was scared of the black guy and thought he could have tried to rob him ...

he was ethically and morally in the wrong...although legally he wasn't obligated its what makes good acts good since there is no punishment for not helping...

but the first thing i'm doing if i see flood waters out there and i see people is yell at them to come into my house

the guy is a scumbag even if he didn't see the mother and children which he's probably lying about to save his own ass...

yes there are natural racial biases where white people can be afraid or suspicious of black people lets not try to deny that that factor exists...the more people admit it the better we will become as a society and those feelings can be overcome as to whether its wrong to feel that way is another argument...i wouldn't fault any person for being on alert in a mlk blvd type environment with shady looking people in hoodies walking across the street because robberies happen on streets like that...lets admit that too
