i didnt have kids cos i saw where the world was going, but as a man i would be terrified to have a daughter in america in the 2020s
people in general just SUCK now. the way people talk about each other... both men and women are guilty of it, americans of all colors are doing it: all this 'high value' shyt, this hypercapitalist romance is some sad shyt to watch. i do think an adult should be able to take care of themselves, but i look online and i see people saying shyt like they cant even be friends with people who make 30k a year and i think thats insane. i dont think a lot of men really even like women in the first place.... they want a vacuum cleaner they can have sex with and stick in the corner while they play video games.
That's exactly how I feel. I wouldn't dare have a child in this world. People are literally more concerned about how to use the next person than the fact there are literally Nazi taking over the country.

i feel cheated out of it. i dont think i necessarily have a right to reproduce*, but a bunch of people with unlimited power destroyed this world. even if i could afford everything to have a kid, what is the planet gonna be like by the time my kid is 40-50 years old? will it be livable for my grandchildren? probably not. the 1% literally stole blood lines. unless i suddenly become obscenely wealthy and escape the country, this is it.
*1875 the population was 1.2 billion. in 1975 it was 4 billion. it is currently 8 billion.
