Read your bottle. Its literally in the top three ingredients usually.
It dries out the hair of people with coarse hair like black men/women because our hair doesn't create that much oil as opposed to our "fairer skinned" counterparts.
Products that cater to our hair type help retain that moisture a little more and prevent super dry scalp.
